Bing is a relatively newer search engine from Microsoft. It is gaining importance in the online world but when it comes to mobile phones, Google was dominating, because no other alternatives were readily available. Microsoft introduced Bing app for mobile phones running using windows platforms. Now, an official Bing app is available for iPhone and it can be downloaded from the app store. Many people are now looking for an alternative to Google and Bing came up. It took about 10% share of the search volume during mid November. It was launched in June of 2008 and it must be accepted that the number of users is on the rise. Introduction of Bing to iPhones is a smart move because iPhone users are very much interested in welcoming new applications that are useful for their phones.
